A Man Sinking Into SelfI urinate in the bath. Lying in the small space of water between the khaki green tiles and off-white shower curtain, I let it go before I realise what I am doing, and am left floating rigid in a pond of my own rejection. Pale yellow pools from my crotch and mixes with the rest of the clouded water. I do not get up. It is my own fault, now I must live with it, and I grit my teeth, determined to enjoy the limbo of water despite its filth. The bath is a pale pink and it makes me feels as though I am floating in a womb, if I knew what that feels like.
